International Airline Concierge

This is a unique role, in fact, the first of its kind in the aviation industry. Leading from the front, you will be responsible for making every Air New Zealand customer journey both on the ground and in-flight a special event. As an International Airline Concierge you will utilise your destination and product expertise to create unique opportunities to enhance our levels of customer service beyond expectations. Your excellent business acumen will help you recognise and achieve sales and marketing objectives and drive company profitability.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all customers, in all cabins, are treated as premium class customers and will provide on-going interaction and assistance at every stage of the customer journey. You will be an ambassador for New Zealand as well as an expert in the regions we fly. No matter how full our aircraft, you will ensure each and every customer has a uniquely Kiwi experience.
Successful applicants will have over 2 years experience and a proven track record in a tourism and/or customer service environment. Your relevant knowledge of the airline industry and strong work ethic will set you apart from the rest.
A natural communicator you will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to interact with a diverse range of people. Highly customer driven you will consistently show concern and empathy and assist to provide each individual passenger with an amazing journey. Your strong ability to influence and motivate will help energise and drive performance through your team. Strong levels of resilience and a proven ability to manage conflict and problem solve will ensure your success in this fantastic new role.
Requirements:
College Diploma and above
Age: 20 and above
Height: Female,160cm and above; Male,170cm and above
Be physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
Be fluent in English and also Mandarin
Be able to swim at least 5o meters – unaided
Have previous experience in a customer-facing environment
The role is based in Shanghai.
