天后大战第一发，Janet Jackson跳槽至Island Records的首张作品–“Discipline”即将在二月廿六日问世。首支单曲“Feedback”之前也介绍过，一发行也深受歌迷的喜爱。
经历过珍暴奶事件，Janet Jackson就像Mariah Carey一样重返天后声势，“Discipline”算是很重要的作品。之前Island Records高层为了防止歌曲外流，分别依不同区域抢先公布两首新歌，这个做法可以马上得知哪个区域有歌曲外流的状况发生，可见“Discipline”被保密得很紧（据说Mariah Carey四月份要发的新专辑“That Chick”也是如此）。
“Discipline”目前已经公布三首歌曲（包括“Feedback”），其他两首为“LUV”和“Rock With U”。“LUV”这首歌深VH1好评受，我也比较喜欢“LUV”，有别于快节奏的“Feedback”，“LUV”属于比较慢版的节奏R&B。“Rock With U”算是Janet首次尝试的迷幻电音曲风，基本上还不错听，不过这首歌是“Discipline”的第二波主打，还蛮新鲜的。Janet跳槽至环球旗下，感觉环球有意重新塑造Janet，这样的做法很赞，因为这样能让大家看见不同的Janet。
